A couple of weeks ago, we told you about some decidedly low-budget ways to get aerial shots. In the article, we described a new generation of remote controlled helicopters that can be outfitted with cameras, to get aerial footage that actually looks half decent. Well, we’ve got a follow up story…and it may freak you out a little bit.
To be sure, this isn’t one of our usual production tips, but it just may inspire your next film. If that is, you’re thinking about shooting a sci-fi horror flick starring — wait for it — a swarm of remote controlled helicopters.
